Comparison methodology
Two stages, fully transparent: hard filters that are never bent, then a weighted ranking you can read right here.
1 · Hard filters
These are eligibility rules. A trip that fails any of them is excluded — no exceptions, no scoring can compensate:
- Minimum age vs the ages in your party
- Your ability and intensity ceilings (trips with unknown levels are excluded when you set a ceiling)
- Your budget ceiling, using sourced prices (estimated conversions are labelled; incomparable prices are marked "price comparison unavailable — check with provider" and never claimed to be within budget)
- Accessibility requirements — only trips with a stated source pass; unknown never counts as accessible
- Destination, when you specify one
Dates: we match by season, not exact dates. Labels tell you whether a trip is "usually offered" in your month or needs checking with the provider. We never claim exact-date availability.
2 · Ranking weights

| Season & climate fit | 20 | Whether the provider or our editors state it runs in your month, and how the destination's climate fits your preference. |
| Budget headroom | 15 | How comfortably the sourced price sits within your budget. Estimated conversions carry a labelled FX buffer; when a party cost can't be computed, this weight is neutral. |
| Provider rating | 15 | The provider's own review score and count — shown with its source, never edited by us. |
| Duration fit | 10 | How well the activity and trip length match what you asked for. |
| Editorial theme affinity | 10 | Fit with curated themes (e.g. unusual experiences). Theme tags are suggestions, never facts. |
No black-box re-ranking, no pay-for-position in results. Sponsored placements, if any, appear outside the ranked results and are labelled.
